Wrongful Death
Whether or not the at-fault driver in a fatal crash receives criminal charges, family members of the deceased may still be able to file a wrongful death claim with that driver’s insurance provider. The compensation provided by a wrongful death claim can help to alleviate the burden of hospital bills, burial costs, and even the loss of support for dependents of the deceased.
However, it is always in the interest of insurance providers to minimize any payout they make. That is where the services of a knowledgeable personal injury attorney can be crucial in ensuring that victims receive their full due.
