Terra Bella, CA – A Lindsay couple lost their lives following a collision involving a big rig on Friday morning, January 10, 2025, leaving their three children orphaned, according to KSEE.
Family members identified the victims as Adelina Flores and Felipe Reyes, who succumbed to their injuries after being trapped in their vehicle.
The Tulare County Fire Department reports that the accident occurred near the intersection of Road 256 and Avenue 95 in Terra Bella.
Emergency crews, including Cal Fire personnel, responded to the scene. The pair were extricated using the Jaws of Life after being pinned inside their vehicle.
Images released by the fire department show a green big rig and a dark-colored sedan resting near the dirt shoulder of the road after the collision.
A GoFundMe campaign has been created to assist with funeral expenses and support the couple’s three children. The fundraiser, citing the tragic loss, shared that the parents will be laid to rest on January 31.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
