Bakersfield, CA — On Wednesday afternoon, January 29, 2025, a crash involving two vehicles and a big rig left two people injured and caused significant traffic delays, according to KBAK.
The Bakersfield Police Department reports that the accident took place around 1:25 PM at 24th and Oak Streets.
Authorities said two people suffered moderate injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. Their identities have not been released. Emergency responders worked at the scene as traffic remained backed up until after 3 PM.
Investigators do not believe speed or impairment played a role in the crash. The cause remains under investigation.
Personal Injury Claims
After a car accident, victims and their families often deal with unexpected financial burdens, such as medical bills, lost income, and, in the worst cases, burial costs.
A Personal Injury claim allows accident victims to hold the at-fault party financially responsible for their cost of care. However, insurance companies usually try to reduce payouts for claims they can’t deny. This is where a skilled personal injury attorney becomes essential, helping ensure victims get the justice and compensation they deserve.
