Baker, CA – In the early morning of Saturday, March 29, 2025, a fatal single-vehicle rollover on the southbound lanes of Interstate 15 resulted in the death of a pickup truck driver, according to CHP Fatal.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports that the accident took place around 3:23 AM near the Baker Boulevard off-ramp when a small pickup truck swerved and overturned multiple times. The vehicle eventually landed on its wheels in the right lane after rolling 8 to 10 times.
Authorities stated that the driver had been swerving prior to the crash, indicating possible reckless driving. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but the driver was pronounced dead following the accident. The vehicle was moved to the shoulder to clear the lanes.
